EuroTrip Part 1 (Paris )…

I have planned a trip to Europe, specifically to visit the cities that are closer to London. This is a thrilling adventure for me as it will be my first journey outside of the UK. I am excited to explore the these incredible cities like Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam have to offer.

I took on a midnight bus from London to Paris. Knowing that there were various modes of transportation to reach the city of Paris, I pondered over whether to travel by bus, train, or Flight.
Amongst these options, the Eurostar train takes me to the center of Paris in just 2 hours. The train journey is relaxing and easy, but it can be more expensive if not booked in advance. So I decided to take the bus, which was a more affordable option.

I had to show my passport and visa at the Dover border. The bus was loaded onto a ferry and after reaching Calais, got back on the bus again.
I arrived in Paris in the morning after an 8-hour journey. I had booked my hotel in Ibis budget and its one of the big chain of hotels in France. So I advice anyone going to france and tight on budget should use this hotel.

As I got off the bus, it started raining. I picked up my passes from the welcome center at Paris Gare du Nord. On my first day in Paris, the rain interrupted me, but I still enjoyed that moment. I walked from the bus Nord station to Champs-Élysées.
The delightful experience of strolling along the promenade, with raindrops gently falling, awaits you on this pleasant 4-5 kilometer walk. This journey was remarkably effortless within the soothing rain.

There’s so much to check out in Paris, from the Eiffel Tower to Disneyland, the Moulin Rouge, Notre Dame, and even the Palace of Versailles. I really took my time each day to explore the city, And let me tell you, the French people are crazy about crepes! You can find them on practically every street corner in Paris. You’ve got to try them, they’re totally different and way more delicious than what you find in London. Now, when it comes to French food, some of my favorites are Tartiflette (a dish made with cheese, potatoes, and bacon) and Another one to try is the French stew called Chicken fricassee.

Among all the experiences I had, Disneyland completely blew my mind! It’s one a kind and unique. I mean, there are only a few places like it in the whole world. You gotta hop on a boat and cruise down the Seine River. The views of Paris from the river are amazing. You’ll see all the iconic stuff, like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral, and it’s really cool. Make sure you set aside a day or two and Trust me, it’s totally worth it!

As I bid farewell to Paris and eyeing on my next destination to Brussels, I was thrilled to discover that the distance between the two cities is quite manageable. The Journey continues… Watch out for more…
